Something that intrigues me is the vast difference between Lysandrelabs in the Anime when compared with other sources.
It’s said the labs are contained in the basement of Café Lysandre during the games/manga.. and yet, in the Anime, it appears as a sprawling facility situated on the coast.
The confinement to Lumiose perhaps didn’t suit their needs (or Alain’s story).
But, if the Labs are beneath the Café, it explains why Augustine Sycamore or other personnel were never curious about the building’s ‘secret’ area. It wasn’t secret! They may have even been down there before.
..Which business came first? Well, that’s obvious.
