I’m not sure if everyone is aware of this yet, but Lysandre’s famous use of the word ‘beautiful’ was never describing a physical condition. I still see so many characterize him like this, but he’s not shallow in the slightest.

These lines are canonly where he makes the differentiation.

If everyone lived to make each other happy. If we lived together in harmony.. using the gifts we have to better the world instead of wasting or hording them.. 
Would that be beautiful? ..I want to be someone who gives.

I… never realized it that way.

Ironically, you’ll find Lysandre quite the positive role model, in his good parts.


# Perhaps why the cast were shown to be /quite/ so shocked when he one day announced he was going to commit mass genocide..
